“None of her music’s reflective of how weird she wants to be or thinks she is. She models herself on Grace Jones and Madonna, but the music sounds like 20-year-old Ibiza disco, you know? She’s not progressive, but she’s a good mimic.” -M.I.A.
My thoughts exactly. I don’t think she’s CHANGING THE WORLD. But so what who cares? She’s just a gal with good pipes at the right place at the right time, who’s learnt how to fashion like a tru-fagget. She was manufactured just like the rest of em - and I don’t feel an ounce guilty for thrusting hard along with you. I’ll say this though: She does look like she works pretty hard, and is pretty dedicated to her fan base. Maybe it’s an act? Who knows? So what who cares? I did find it pretty lulz tho that she ART-ed up the Telephone vid as much as poss, despite the fact that the song is as stock standard as the next. Tru-fagget. I mean, she’s got clean lines, a fun frisky use of colour. All in all i’d have to say, not bad. Now thrust like there’s a motherfucking Macys sale, and you need to find the motherfucking dress that you’re going to get motherfucking gangbanged in tonight. Fagget OUT. *hangs up giant flip phone* *drops pill* (via extrafirmhold)
My Birthday is April 15th!
Check out this entire gallery of incarcerated drunk people from the early 1900s from The Daily Mail. It also includes the information card that was filled out for each drunk person, including their “shape of nose” and “peculiarities or marks.” It’s a great gallery with loads of interesting characters. /via twothirty
Lack of Vitamin A can cause poor vision, including night vision, and vision can be restored by adding Vitamin A back into the diet. An urban legend says eating large amounts of carrots will allow one to see in the dark. The legend developed from stories of British gunners in World War II who were able to shoot down German planes in the darkness of night. The legend arose during the Battle of Britain when the RAF circulated a story about their pilots’ carrot consumption as an attempt to cover up the discovery and effective use of radar technologies in engaging enemy planes, as well as the use of red light (which does not destroy night vision) in aircraft instruments. It reinforced existing German folklore and helped to encourage Britons—looking to improve their night vision during the blackouts—to grow and eat the vegetable.
